Dear Voters,
I am contes ng the assembly elec on from 214 Pune Cantonment Assembly Cons tuency as the official
candidate of Mahavikas Aghadi and India Front Cons tuents. For the last 10 years there has not been much
development in Pune Cantonment Assembly Cons tuency. The BJP MLA's who represented the Pune Cantonment
Assembly Cons tuency have not fulfilled the promises made by them to the voters of the cons tuency. For the
overall development of our cons tuency change is the need of the hour.
In 2009 you elected me as MLA from Pune Cantonment Assembly Cons tuency. With you support I undertook
various development works. I am a loyal worker of the Indian Na onal Congress. Congress Party believes in secular
ideology. We follow the path preached by our leaders like Chhatrapa Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Jyo ba Phule,
Lahuji Vastad Salve, Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, Chhatrapa Shahu
Maharaj, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shahir Annabahu Sathe, Mother Teresa, Saint Sevalal
Maharaj & several other leaders.

In 1991 Congress Government at the Centre headed by the then Prime Minister Shri. P. V. Narsimha Rao and
Finance Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh adopted the policy of Globaliza on and Liberalisa on. This Liberalisa on
policy brought in foreign investment and employment in our country. Pune became an IT Hub. Lakhs of youth got
employment in various IT Companies in Pune.
Unfortunately In the last 10 years there has been lack of development in Pune Cantonment Assembly
Cons tuency. Traffic hazards, Health hazards, Pollu on, Low pressure water supply, Unemployment, Atroci es on
women, Drug Menace, Lack of advanced health facili es in Sassoon Hospital and Pune Cantonment Board Hospital
(Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Hospital) are the burning issues.

I have prepared a blue print for the overall development of the
cons tuency. Widening of Roads, Proper Water Supply, Efficient
Public Transport System, Re-development of Old Wadas, Proper
Public Toilets for men and women, Gymnasium, Gardens, Play
Grounds, Senior Ci zens Club, Employment for the Youth, Advanced
health facili es in Sassoon Hospital and Pune Cantonment Board
Hospital (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Hospital), Safety of Women,
Crusade Against Drug Menace etc are of prime importance. For the
Slum Dwellers I will try to give them their own house admeasuring
550 sq under Slum Rehabilita on Scheme. I will also try to ensure
that property tax for middle class people having a 500 s q flat will
be waived off. I need your support to implement the above plans.

Congress Party has always ensured inclusive growth and
development. My endeavour is to ensure the overall development
of Pune Cantonment Assembly Cons tuency. To bring back the glory
of our cons tuency, I humbly request you to kindly vote for me on
20th November 2024 and elect me with thumping majority.
